Supporting OKC’s Art with a Heart for 25+ Years

For more than 25 years, Candid Color Systems (CCS) has proudly supported Art with a Heart, a one-of-a-kind event in Oklahoma City that brings together the power of art, community, and compassion. This annual fundraiser is more than just an auction — it’s a celebration of the strength, resilience, and creativity of children who have faced serious illness.

A Night of Inspiration and Giving Back

Every year, Art with a Heart showcases artwork created by children receiving or who have completed treatment at the Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Throughout the year, these young artists participate in art therapy sessions where they can express their emotions, find joy in creativity, and collaborate with local artists to produce one-of-a-kind pieces.

The event itself is a moving experience. Each artwork tells a story of hope, courage, and the boundless imagination of a child going through the unimaginable. Attendees have the opportunity to bid on these incredible pieces, with all proceeds benefiting organizations dedicated to supporting families navigating childhood illness, such as:

• Oklahoma Children’s Cancer Association (OCCA) – Helping families with financial assistance, emotional support, and resources.
• Cavett Kids Foundation – Providing camps and programs that empower children facing life-threatening conditions.
• The K Club – Honoring the legacy of a young girl named Kelsey and providing outreach to families battling childhood cancer.

The event is a powerful reminder that art is more than just paint on a canvas — it’s a way for these young artists to share their journey with the world.
